FAQ
Seenu Kiosk — Frequently Asked Questions
Seenu Kiosk frequently asked questions: Square compatibility, hardware, cash payments, installation, menu changes, pricing, and contracts — answered plainly.
Does Seenu Kiosk work with my existing Square account?
Yes. Seenu Kiosk connects to your current Square account. Orders, payments, and reports appear in Square exactly like counter orders. You don't change POS, processor, or bank payouts.
Do I need to buy anything besides the kiosk?
No. The card reader and receipt printer are integrated. You provide power and internet.
What happens if the kiosk breaks?
Software issues are fixed remotely, typically the same day. If hardware fails, we swap the unit by the next business day (NYC metro & parts of NJ).
Can customers pay cash?
No — Seenu Kiosk takes card and contactless payments only. Cash customers simply order at the counter with your staff, exactly as they do today.
How long does installation take?
About half a day, including mounting, Square pairing, and staff training.
How do I change my menu?
Most changes sync automatically from your Square account — items, prices, and 86'd items update on the kiosk on their own. For anything else (new photos, screen layout, seasonal promotions), send us a message and it's handled right away. No visit fee.
What does it cost?
Own it: $2,499 one-time + $89/month care plan ($890/year — 2 months free), 1-year warranty included. Lease it: $0 upfront, $249/month for 24 months — limited slots monthly — then it drops to $89/month automatically. No per-order fees either way. Full details on the pricing page.
What happens after the 24-month lease?
Your rate drops from $249 to $89/month — automatically. You keep the same kiosk and the same service; there's nothing to renegotiate or send back.
What if I prepay the care plan annually and close my store?
If you've paid $890 for the year and close or cancel, we refund the remaining months prorated. No fine print.
What about warranty?
Every kiosk — owned or leased — includes a 1-year warranty. After the first year, you can extend coverage for $200/year.
Lease or own — which is cheaper?
If you'll run the kiosk longer than about 16 months, owning is cheaper. The math: $2,499 ÷ ($249 − $89) = 15.6 months is where the total-cost lines cross. The lease wins on risk: $0 upfront, and hardware replacement is fully on us.
Whose hardware is it?
POSBANK — manufactured in Korea. The 24" freestanding units are stocked by POSBANK's U.S. entity and serviced in the U.S.
Is there a contract?
The lease runs 24 months, then continues automatically at $89/month with no new commitment. Owning has no ongoing commitment beyond the care plan.
Where can I see one running?
Our first kiosk is being installed at 101 Chicken in Fort Lee, NJ. Book a demo and we'll schedule a hands-on walkthrough.
What kinds of restaurants is this for?
Quick-service and fast-casual spots on Square — chicken, boba, ramen, pizza, cafés, delis. It's especially strong for stores that get slammed at specific hours: when hiring extra staff or adding another POS station for a two-hour rush doesn't make sense in space or cost, the kiosk absorbs the line.
