Who sees my data?
Nobody outside your restaurant. Your own system, your numbers never leave your store: one private database and one private deployment, nothing pooled, benchmarked, resold, or shown to another business. Seenu staff see your data only while doing support work you asked for. Your login is the only owner login; staff see only what their PIN allows; invoice photos and cash counts stay in your own private storage. If you cancel, the code and the full database go to you within 7 days and we delete our copies. Simplin is run by Seenu Tech. Your staff and payroll data there are covered by the same privacy promise and are exported to you on exit. Simplin's own public price is $20 per store per month; Pro includes it.
What happens in the on-site week?
Five days, open to close, in your store. Day 1 we set the shelves to how the store is stored and count with your staff. Day 2 the checklists and the first cash close. Day 3 the day's deliveries - invoice photos, line matching, reorder thresholds. Day 4 vendors, order templates and suggested quantities, and staff tapping in with Simplin. Day 5 your staff run it alone while we watch and fix. A 30-minute owner meeting every evening. Week 1 before it is the remote build; weeks 3–4 after it are adjustments, training, go-live and the written Store Ops Report.
What happens after the 90 days?
From go-live, Core and Plus clients get every Pro software module for 90 days at their own plan's price: invoice reading and price watch, SOP library, recipes, multi-location admin, Simplin, and text ordering in "send from my phone" mode. On day 75 we call with a one-page "what you actually used" summary and a recommendation. You choose. If you choose nothing, you go to the plan you signed on day 90. Nothing switches up without a yes. Not in the trial, because they are services, not switches: Pro on-site training, SOP authoring, the Opening Kit, the branded app build, monthly check-ins. System-sent vendor texts need the Twilio number, which is part of the paid add-on.
What do I see on my phone?
The owner dashboard - 17 screens that all work on a phone. Dashboard tiles (counts today, invoices waiting, open requests, items to reorder), close progress, price watch, usage signal; the inventory monitor with estimated on hand; item history; invoice review with the lines the app read; orders with suggested quantities and the vendor text thread; reports; cash counts; food cost; and the employees, tasks, menus, SOPs, guides and contacts your staff see. On Pro, Simplin shifts sit next to counts and closes. Plus four automatic emails: daily close at 10 PM, reorder alert at noon when something is low, staff requests, vendor text replies.
Can my staff use their own phones?
Yes. The staff app is a home-screen web app that runs on an iPad, iPhone or Android phone with a PIN login - no passwords, no accounts, no app store. On Pro, staff also get a store-branded app in the App Store and Google Play; Apple's $99 a year and Google's $25 once are paid by you in your name.
Do I need an iPad?
A tablet or a phone. Most stores keep one iPad or Android tablet on the counter for counts and the cash close; staff can also use their own phones. No per-device fee.
Does it work with my POS?
There is no POS integration. The app runs beside Square, Toast, Clover, or no POS, and never reads sales data. It covers the back of house: counts, checklists, invoices, cash close, staff procedures - and on Pro, time clock and schedules through Simplin.
What happens if I cancel?
Month-to-month, 30 days' notice. Within 7 days you receive the code repository and a full database export including invoice photos, at no charge, and we delete our copies. Simplin data is exported to you the same way. Self-owned clients already hold the accounts; the app keeps running on them.
My staff speak Spanish. Does that work?
On Plus and Pro the staff app switches between English, Spanish, and Korean per person at login. Checklists and SOPs you write in English are translated once and reviewed by you. Core is English only. The owner dashboard is English or Korean. Simplin's team chat translates across 7 languages.
How long does setup take?
2–4 weeks: week 1 remote build, week 2 five days on site, weeks 3–4 adjustments, training, go-live and the Store Ops Report. For a new restaurant the Opening Kit runs the same shape before opening day, with the on-site week being the opening week. Vendor text ordering adds a 1–3 week carrier verification that runs in parallel.
Do I need Twilio?
Only if you want vendor orders sent as texts from the system and replies read in the order thread. It is an add-on on Core and Plus ($300 setup + $20/mo, the Twilio number and messages included) and included in Pro. During the 90-day trial, Core and Plus can text orders in "send from my phone" mode.
Can I run multiple locations?
Pro includes up to 3 locations under one owner dashboard, $69/mo each after that. On Core and Plus the monthly price is per location. A second location set up during Store Ops Weeks is +$1,500; added later it is $500 setup + $69/mo.
What if the kitchen Wi-Fi drops?
The app needs a connection; there is no offline mode today. Counts and closes wait until the connection is back - nothing is lost, but nothing is saved while it is down. A phone hotspot works as a backup.
I'm opening in two months. Is that enough time?
Yes. The Opening Kit ($1,500, included in Pro) builds your lists, checklists and five SOPs from a concept template in the four weeks before opening, and the five-day on-site week is your opening week. Six weeks out is comfortable; eight is relaxed.
