Seenu Tech

Privacy policy

What seenutech.com collects when you visit or contact us, why, and who else sees it. Seenu Salon OS and Seenu Kiosk have their own policies.

What this policy covers

  • This policy covers seenutech.com, run by Seenu Tech Corp: the pages, the free SEO + GEO check, the forms you use to contact us, and the reports we prepare for clients.
  • Seenu Salon OS, the AI receptionist that answers salon calls and texts, has its own policy at seenutech.com/salonos/legal/privacy.
  • Seenu Kiosk, the self-order kiosk in restaurants, has its own policy at seenutech.com/kiosk/legal/privacy.

What you give us

  • Contact form: your name, email and message, and your business name if you add it.
  • Consultation and demo request forms (Salon OS, Store Ops, Seenu Kiosk and Building Directory): your name, business name, email, and what else the form asks for, such as phone number, area, your current POS system, number of locations or buildings, and your message.
  • AI visibility snapshot request: your business name, website and email, and your industry if you add it.
  • Free SEO + GEO check: the website you check, your business type and market, and your business name if you enter it. If you ask for the full report, your email and any notes.
  • Every form also sends the address of the page you sent it from and where your visit started, described in the next section.

What is collected automatically

  • Google Analytics records the pages you view, clicks on buttons such as call or request a demo, and form submissions, with device and approximate location information. It uses cookies.
  • When you use the free check, the website you check and the business name you enter are recorded with those Google Analytics events.
  • Meta Pixel records page views, the same clicks and form submissions, including those event details, so we can measure our ads. It uses cookies.
  • Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel load on the pages of seenutech.com. Google Analytics loads with them, or when you click a tracked button or send a form.
  • When you arrive at seenutech.com, your browser keeps a note of where the visit started for up to 90 days: the first page you opened, the site that linked to it, and, if you came from an ad or a tagged link, the ad click ID (such as Google's gclid) and campaign tags such as the campaign name and search keyword. The note stays in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, and reaches us only with a form you send, so we can see which ad or search brought the request.
  • When we run Google ads, Google Analytics shares which ad visits led to a form or a call click with our Google Ads account, so Google can count the results of each ad.
  • When you send a Salon OS, Store Ops, Seenu Kiosk, Building Directory or snapshot request, our server also tells Meta that a request was made. It sends your email address in hashed (scrambled) form, your IP address, your browser type, the page address and Meta's cookie IDs if your browser has them.
  • For the free AI answer test, your IP address is kept in server memory to limit how many tests one visitor can run. It is never written to our database.
  • Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses.
  • Staff sign-in uses a cookie that lasts 8 hours. When a client opens a report link we send them, a cookie keeps that report open for up to 30 days.

How we use it

  • To reply to you, prepare a quote, schedule a demo or an installation, and email you the report you asked for and a confirmation that we received your request.
  • To run the free check, we read your public website. For the AI answer test, we ask OpenAI (ChatGPT) and Google (Gemini) questions built from your business type and market only, and OpenAI also gets an approximate location based on that market. Your name, business name, website and email are not sent to them.
  • The snapshot request reads your public website and asks OpenAI (ChatGPT) one question built from the industry you entered. Your business name, website and email are not sent to OpenAI.
  • For a full report or a client report, we may ask the same kind of questions on more AI services, such as Anthropic (Claude), Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews through SerpAPI.
  • To see which pages and ads bring in requests, and to improve the site.

Who else sees it

  • Companies that run parts of the service for us: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Resend (email delivery), Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Google Ads measurement, Gemini), Meta (Pixel and ad measurement), OpenAI, and, for full and client reports, Anthropic, Perplexity and SerpAPI.
  • The Seenu Tech team, to answer your request and do the work.
  • We do not sell your personal information. Apart from the Google and Meta measurement described above, we do not give it to other businesses for their marketing.
  • We may disclose information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

  • Form requests reach our inbox as email. Free check records, including full report requests, are stored in our database.
  • There is no automatic deletion date yet. We keep these records until you ask us to delete them, and we delete them when you ask.
  • Google Analytics keeps its data for the period set in our account. Meta keeps Pixel data under its own policy.

Your choices

  • To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, email hello@seenutech.com.
  • You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings; deleting site data also removes the note of where your visit started. Google offers an Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and Meta lets you manage ad settings in your account.
  • Fields that are not required can be left empty.

If you are a client

  • If you connect your accounts, we read data from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads and Meta Ads, and store it in our database to prepare your reports. For Google Business Profile we store only your location ID.
  • We use these connections to read data. We do not change your settings, campaigns or listings through them, even where Google's permission screen lists edit access.
  • You can remove our access at any time in each product's user settings or in your Google and Meta account permissions.

Children

  • seenutech.com is for business owners. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes and contact

  • If we change this policy, we update the date on this page.
